2027 Tours Dates: Please Email us for dates and interest. We are just waiting on the BC ferry Schedule. Dates will be set in November.
On this incredible 8-day sea kayak expedition, we’ll depart Bella Bella by water taxi and travel out to the stunning Goose Group Islands, a remote archipelago along the central coast of British Columbia. From here, we’ll begin our journey through the heart of Heiltsuk First Nations territory, paddling through a spectacular mix of sheltered passages, breathtaking island groups, remote beaches, and open-water crossings. As we make our way south through the McNaughton Group toward Calvert Island, we’ll experience the wild beauty of the central coast at its best. This is a true wilderness journey, where each day brings new landscapes, changing conditions, and opportunities to encounter the incredible wildlife that calls this coastline home—from tiny intertidal creatures and sea otters to Dall’s porpoises, Steller sea lions, orcas, and massive 40-ton humpback whales. Along the way, we’ll travel through culturally significant First Nations territories and some of the most remote and pristine coastal landscapes in British Columbia. For those looking to truly immerse themselves in the wilderness, this expedition offers a rare opportunity to experience the Great Bear Rainforest from the seat of a sea kayak, far from roads, crowds, and developed services.
